• Stewartry Stir Fried

A finger buffet was on offer to ball sponsor G &T Security and match sponsor Pickles Agriculture Ltd before the match but it was the cordon blue desert of the match which was the highlight of the day. A feast of eight tries, for the Maybole side, in a demolition of promotion hopefuls Stewartry.

  • An Oban lesson for Carrick

It was a poor start to the day. A mix up with the bus company meant that the journey to Oban began three quarters of an hour late. The journey was long and the bus arrived on time but last week’s team for some reason did not arrive in Oban.

Tuck Shop

We sold our whole stock of sweets and cans of juice at the Scotland trip on Saturday. If anybody is able to donate either of these then we would be most grateful. This is proving a real success.

Scotland Internationals/Mini Section

Saturdays trip was a fantastic success. Scotland played some superb rugby and our pupils were a credit to the school, the Maidens pupils who attended also had a great time. 2 of the boys from Maidens have now joined the mini section, due to being inspired by Kelly Browns boys and the minis played their first ever game on Sunday against Irvine and won by 11 tries to 4. This is a huge development for Carrick Rugby and Craig Davidson and the MAs should be congratulated for all their hard work in this area.
This Sunday sees our P4, P5 and P6/7 host Cumnock Minis once again at the school pitch. KO is 12.00. All support welcome.

There are also 7 spaces left for Scotland v Ireland on the 24TH February.

Bag Packing

We have managed to gain a full days bag packing at Sainsbury’s in Prestwick on Saturday 9th March. If any parent can help supervise or assist in the bag packing them please speak to me asap.
